Tackle Football Info & Registration

Youth Tackle Football
The Wayland Youth Sports organization is pleased to offer recreational tackle football for our Wayland community youth and surrounding communities. The recreational football program is geared for both giving the players exposure to the sport of football as well as providing continuous development for players looking to build on their skills.

Our recreational program is offered to 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders that will allow them to transition into middle school football through the Wayland Schools football program.

Our focus is on helping our youth build Character, Sportsmanship, Self-Confidence and Learn Responsibility & Teamwork in a competitive environment while gaining a strong sense of community and respect towards athletics. WYS provides a structured, safe and secure environment for our youth to learn the fundamentals and skills necessary to advance in Wayland Football.

Coaches are an essential part of the youth program. They serve as a bridge between youth and sub-varsity levels. If you can, help us grow our community! We have other areas to volunteer as well such as concessions and our Homecoming parade planning. When kids are engaged in programs such as this, we believe parents have a place as well. As they grow, involvement is necessary so start now!
